Notesy 1.6.2 Release Notes
When you're working on a note-that is, when the keyboard is active-Notesy now does a check every 2 minutes: If you've changed the note since it last checked it will save it.
Foreground Note Updates
- have a note visible
- send Notesy to the background
- ...time passes...
- change that same note on Dropbox
- go back to Notesy
Notesy will show the updated version of the note as long as you aren't editing it. If you are editing it, Notesy will do what it always did and rename the downloaded version so it won't overwrite the one you're working on.
More Monospaced Goodness
Because I love monospaced fonts I added Meslo LG and LG DZ from André Berg. I'm using one of the DZ (Dotted Zero) variants myself now. My thanks to Thomas Fuchs for this post about these excellent variations on Menlo.
LG stands for Line Gap and lets you choose a Small, Medium or Large line gap (leading if you will). DZ stands for Dotted Zero. You can see why below:
A few folks apparently use Notesy as a transient to-do list, ubiquitous capture sort of thing. They wanted to be able to see at a glance how many notes they had, because it meant those were unprocessed actions for them.
The setting for this is off by default and can be found under Settings/Advanced:
